<p>I’ve included an example half term action plan I use for NQTs. This is an Autumn 1 plan which is usually focused on relationships etc.<br /> It breaks down the success criteria and actions the NQT can take to achieve the target. Each target is related to TS.</p>

<p>This is a unit of work based on the text ‘The Viewer’ by Shaun Tan and Gary Crew.<br /> The resources includes: Active Inspire flipcharts to support the unit of work, model texts, book review lesson with model texts, book mark making, at work lesson and the 3 week unit of work based on Talk For Writing.<br /> We wrote alternative endings to the text and used lots of immersion techniques. We used a viewer, made our own boxes and created art work. The text is a high quality picture book which engages the bios and motivated them to write some fantastic pieces; diaries and alternative endings.</p> <p>Please note that the flipcharts are only compatible with Activ Inspire.</p>

<p>This bundle included a MTP for writing newspaper articles based on the Ancinet Greek Myth The Minotaur.</p> <p>There are accompanying resources and a flipchart which is ONLY COMPATIBLE with ACTIV INSPIRE.</p> <p>We used this resources when studying Ancient Greece in year 5 and linked it to a famous myth that lent itself to a newspaper article. The chidlren really enjoyed the unit and produced excellent newspapers.</p> <p>I hope you find it useful.</p>

We linked our Y5 Crime and punishment through the ages with fairy tales to create alternative versions. <br /> We used some Twinkl resources to support the crime and punishment knowledge. <br /> The children really enjoyed the unit and produced great alternative versions. <br /> Flip chart ONLY COMPATIBLE with PROMETHEAN or ACTIV INSPIRE.

Goldilocks Horror unit of work based on the horror alternative of Goldilocks. <br /> Includes: unit of work, flipcharts (Activ Inspire), actvities, model texts and vocab sheets.<br /> We used this text to produce some excellent narrative in year 6. This follows Talk for Writing loosely.<br /> <br /> Please note: Activ Inpire flipcharts are only compatible with Activ Inspire.

<p>I created this evidence checklist for NQTs and students who have to evidence the standard, usually in the form of a folder.<br /> It is just a guide of ideas of evidence. All my NQTs and students have found it useful.<br /> Can be used by mentors and NQTs/students themselves.</p>

A narrative unit based on the book Anancy. <br /> <br /> It follow TFW scheme and has a set of planning, flip chart and model text to accompany plans.<br /> We used this planning in y6 and got fantastic results!

A double page of activities that children can complete during guided reading time, free reading time in a reading journal/ guided reading book. <br /> We used it in year 6 to promote reading stamina and understanding. The children loved doing these activities in a separate journal; which they decorated themselves. There is a wide range of activities so they won't get bored!
