Pathways assessed according to ability level- test embedded within the lesson

To supplement the employability skills elements of the T-Level Foundation and to support preparing students for the T-Level progression I developed two Employer Set Project Type Tasks.

The tasks and grading criteria are derived from the T-Levels.

Task one is set in October/ November and Task two in April. Much like the T-Levels we administer these in “exam conditions”.

They are designed to support students on a variety of NTO pathways.

For this element of the T-Level Foundation (employability- or as we call it the World of Work- WOW) passing these ESP tasks and completing an end of course presentation are required to pass this element of the Foundation. We allow resubmissions.

This is a project I have designed for the summer term in year 10, moving the students into the Year 11 content. It involves looking at the nature of money and using this theory to create and then test your own currency.

The set up take 3-6 lessons and then there is a review process whilst the project is ongoing. In all this can run over 3 weeks, but there is flexibility in delivery.
