<p>These trackers enables students to keep track of their progress in the 3 units in OCR Computer Science at A-Level - Unit 1 (Theory), Unit 2 (Programming) and Unit 3 (Project Handling).<br /> Each unit is written with a focus for students to encapsulate their learning for each topic / focus with each unit. Self-reflection is key to the students mastering their learning.<br /> Teachers use this to their benefit as tests conducted will be in keeping with this tracker and marks will be recorded on each unit tracker. All teachers would need to do is plan the tests and homework in advance and create the spreadsheet to track students progress over the academic years.</p>

<p>The files within this resource will assist in keeping track of learner progress (R013 CA Tracking Hrs.xlsx) with the Project in unit R013 Developing Technological Solutions; as well help with the assessment of the project (Assessment Tracker.xlsx). The assesment can be mailmerged with the Data sheet in the Assessment Tracker.xlsx file to develop your evidence for external moderation. The word document is setup for mailmerge - just needs execution. The Assessment spreadsheet just uses ‘1’'s for areas that learners meet - they must meet all RED’s before moving onto AMBER - meeting all of these then moving onto GREEN. Project tracker is not exhaustive - feel free to add more subtasks as you see fit - it is a good start.</p>

<p>The behaviour management PPT makes use of a simple but effective way to mange classroom behaviour. It contains a 4 step process to manage behaviour of students. Just be consistent with it and you see the rewards.<br /> A great tip is that you always start with Silent mode and inform students that they will earn the other modes depending on how well they do with silent mode. You then give them time limits on other modes. Very very effective for short burst tasks.</p>
