I was inspired by a video and set up the finches activity using a variety of tongs and tweezers, and nuts, seeds, fruit and jelly sweets for the finches food. I have filled in the table with the birds that suited my equipment but you can adjust this to suit your own equipment if you choose to try it! The pupils found it quite useful!
