Narrative planning blocks to encourage paragraphs - A Journey of a Coin

(0)

This word document supports pupils to plan and structure a circular narrative based on ‘A journey of a coin’

The planning encourages pupils to plan 5 paragraphs for their narrative.

The coin starts and ends its journey in a cash till (which could be anywhere in the world). It then does on a journey over the next 3 paragraphs which involve a pocket, a car and an aeroplane, before returning to a different cash till.

I’ve used this with Year 3 and 4 pupils and they have gone on to write a really successful narrative with linking paragraphs .
