Set of GCSE 'flip cards' designed to be printed out, laminated and put on a key ring.
Students use these to develop independent learning skills or remember key facts.
Higher Tier content is grouped on the same page allowing it to be printed out in a different colour.
Maths Activity. A set of cards containing enough information to calculate the ages of the 10 people named. Simple linear and simultaneous equations practice. Nice group revision activity.
Simple multiplication, addittion and subtraction practice. 28 activity cards and answer sheets. There are 4 different trails here each spelling a different word, 'squared', &'average&';, 'polygon&', &';integer'. Pick one card from each set and hide the remaining ones around the classroom. Students write down the letter on their &'start card&'; on their answer sheet. They answer the 'sum&' on the card and then try to find the card with the answer on it (inside the rectangle at the top left). They write down the letter on this card on their answer sheet, solve the &';sum' etc. again.
Lesson about surds on an interactive video. Video automatically pauses at key points for note taking, answering questions etc. and will only proceed when 'continue' button is pressed i.e. answers to questions do not appear before you tell them. I have left this for a cover lesson and was well received by students and cover supervisors. Have placed it on VLE for students to use for revision.
Smart notebook file covering foundation and higher level content all run by selecting category from front page. Imbedded revision notes and videos. Nice for a plenary or revision. Please leave feedback.
Interactive spider diagram covering all of GCSE percentages with explanations, revision notes and past paper questions. Good for a plenary or pre-exam session.
Interactive video that I made and left as a cover lesson. Students really seemed to engage and lesson is now on the VLE for revision. Buttons must be pressed to allow video to move on so answers are not revealed before you are ready. Please excuse the Hull accent!
