<p>Drugs, festivals, clubbing and parties - an hour long, fully-resourced, detailed and differentiated PSHE lesson, created specifically for the new PSHE + RSE 2020-22 guidelines. The lesson covers the extra vigilance students need to take when attending their first festivals, parties and starting to go clubbing. It explains the dangers and risks associated with drug culture, from personal safety and health risks to sexual ones. It also have a focus on the nitrous oxide craze (laughing gas / nos), harm reduction and where students can go for further help.</p>
<p>The lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, information pack, differentiated activities, clips tasks with questions and a literacy / debate focus task. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.</p>

<p>This lesson is part of the PSHE curriculum on sex and relationships and focuses on the increased risk of dangerous behaviour including sexual behaviour whilst under the influence of drugs and or alcohol. It includes a slide about agreed ground rules for discussion, activities, a worksheet and a slide sign-posting students to outside agencies for further support and guidance. The video looks more at the impact of drug use rather than the risks linked to sexual behaviour.<br />
