This presentation is comprised of seventeen slides which are all anecdotes of all too familiar happenings with children who exhibit ADD/ADHD characteristics. Each child, as we all well know, is different and unique! Use these slides at the conclusion of an all day training as closure or use them at a Parent University or parent workshop. All teachers and parents can relate to the content for sure! The content is meant to highlight the funny side of living with an ADHD child!
This 29 slide presentation introduces staff to restorative practice and highlights the impact it can have on behaviour and culture. The presentations takes core themes from ‘When Adults Change Everything Changes’ by Paul Dix and ‘Getting the Buggers to Behave’ by Sue Cowley. The focus of the presentation is to ensure staff understand how restorative practice can improve relationships and empower them to deal with behaviour more effectively.
The 29 slide presentation discusses the following:
Empower Staff
Consistency
‘Picking up your own tab’
Challenging students
Restorative meetings (why have one, what to ask, how and when to have one, etc.)
Involving parents

Poetry Train is a teachers pack of activities, poems and advice for teaching poetry in primary schools. David Harmer and Roger Stevens share proven approaches for use in the classroom, based on brilliant poems by top poets such as Carol Ann Duffy and Jackie Kay.
This Powerpoint can be used as training for Teachers or Teaching Assistants and is a useful reminder of what Behaviour Management is and how we can implement effective strategies. The discussions and 'script' for what do say to children when you would like them to show better behaviours for learning will encourage a consistent whole school approach.

-Colourful, engaging, and comprehensive PowerPoint presentations;
-Videos for analysis of key techniques;
-A wide range of interactive resources for CPD activities;
-Instructions and plans to assist delivery.
All images and videos are licensed for commercial use, and are cited on the final slide of each PowerPoint.

Quite often we are very clear on how to differentiate for our lower attainers but we forget that this strategy should also be used for “stretch and challenge”
This pack contains an hours CPD training on differentiation for higher attainers. I delivered this at my school for my department when it was a key focus for our school development plan and it went down really well - and I enjoyed delivering it, I hope you do too.

Facilitator guide
Resource for participants
Command words (GCSE)
Task design resource
Not included:
You will also need the marks scheme for your subject area
