Eduqas GCSE Latin Knowledge Organiser - Grammar on 2 A3 Pages

(0)
A knowledge organiser for Eduqas Latin GCSE. Contains the accidence and syntax required across two A3 pages. (It could be printed on A4 but some parts might be difficult to read.) This is designed to be a summary/reference document so I have needed to significantly simplify some things in order to make it fit on two pages. (I have focussed on general verb endings rather than including the formation for each different conjugation.) I have also not included a couple of things from the specification which I felt needed no explanation such as ‘causal clauses introduced by quod’. This is a useful resource for revision as well as using as a reference document in an exercise book or folder. This may still be of use for those studying the OCR Latin GCSE. However, the OCR GCSE requires more on top of what is included in this document. The download includes both PDF and PPTX versions of the document. This resource works well with the following: Eduqas GCSE Latin vocabulary list on one page Eduqas GCSE Latin English to Latin Knowledge Organiser

End of Year KS3 / KS4 English Language and Literature Quiz 2025 Edition

This fun, engaging and quirky quiz (40 slides) is by far my most popular resource each year, and is one of the highlights of the summer term for my classes. It will spark intellectual curiosity as well as test some of the skills students have developed to date. There are 10 rounds and 50 questions in total, relating to both Language and Literature: Round 1: Weird Punctuation - tests student’s knowledge of lesser-known punctuation marks and their usage. Round 2: Judging a Book by Its Cover - guess the title and author of each book based on a thumbnail image taken from somewhere on the cover. Round 3: The Shakespeare Round - match the quote to the Shakespeare play it comes from. Round 4 Part 1: From Page to Screen - decide whether each of the movies released in the last year were based on books. Round 4 Part 2: From Page to Stage - work out which of these famous books has also been adapted for theatre. Round 5: Loan Words - match each of the loan words to its original language, either Latin, Greek, French or Arabic. Round 6: Lexical Expansion - which words - part of contemporary teenage idiolect - were officially added to the Oxford English Dictionary in the last year? Round 7: Strange but True - which of the so-called English-related facts is true, and which is a lie? Round 8: Technique Scramble - can you decipher ‘quite rich notes lora’ and other anagrams to reveal three language techniques? Round 9: What Am I? - Three punctuation marks describe themselves, but can students uncover their identities? Round 10: See and Say - who can smash the image and the word together (the end of the first clue is the start of the next) to create portmanteaus? I hope your English classes love this quiz as much as mine do!
