Students will explore what we mean by deepfakes and malicious AI, before discovering how celebrities, politicians and citizens are falling victim of this new technology. They will investigate the new UK law (April 2024) and the penalties aimed at different types of deepfakes, including explicit ones (no imagery will be seen, just the concept discussed). Anti Bullying Lesson - Bullying or banter? PSHE or Tutor Time resources for the PSHE 2020 -2024 curriculum or anti-bullying week. This detailed lesson focuses on the issues surrounding 'banter' culture - and when a bit of light teasing becomes bullying and verbal peer on peer abuse, through investigating case studies and different scenarios familiar to all schools. <p>NEW PSHE lesson all about stereotypes and stereotyping. Students will investigate what these terms mean, how stereotyping can be harmful and why humanity developed the ability to make quick generalisations about groups. Students will investigate the case of Ethel, an old lady who loves her teenage grandchildren, yet can’t help stereotyping teenagers as a potential danger to her when she passes them on the streets. <p>One hour lesson introducing the concept of neurodiversity. Students will explore what is meant by neurotypical and neurodiverse, the various conditions we ascribe to being neurodiverse and the challenges faced by those living with them. They will discover famous and successful people with neurodiverse minds and evaluate whether we do enough in schools to celebrate neurodiversity. They will also investigate why the neurodiversity movement has its critics as well as how it is working to improve the lives of people all around the world.</p> <p>This has been created to best suit KS4, but could easily be used with KS3 and is entirely editable. It covers the DfE and PSHE Association guidance for 2020-24 and will last you one hour.
