The Great Big Halloween Quiz 2024!!

The first Halloween quiz from from the series!! Following the familiar format of The Great Big Christmas Quiz, The Great Big Easter Quiz and The Great Big Summer Quiz… we now have The Great Big Halloween Quiz!!

Six rounds of beautifully presented questions with animated answers embedded throughout the PowerPoint.

Photo Round:
A printout is available of nine famous faces in fancy dress, ready for Halloween, followed by two questions about the celebrities. Students try to name the face hiding behind the fancy dress. This works great as a starter or settler when students enter the class and gives them something to get on with whilst you complete the class admin. Answers for this round are embedded into the PowerPoint at the end. This allows students to continue to work on this round throughout the quiz if needed.

Round 1: Spooky Trivia
Ten multiple choice questions, based on Halloween and spooky trivia around the world. Each question has four options and students only need to answer A, B, C or D. Answers for this round are embedded into the PowerPoint after round 2.

Round 2: Halloween Traditions
Ten multiple choice questions, based on Halloween traditions from around the world… Each question has four options and students only need to answer A, B, C or D. Answers for this round are embedded into the PowerPoint after this round, along with the answers for round 1. Students are then encouraged to share their scores so the teacher / class leader can keep track.

Round 3: Frightening Facts
Ten frightening questions (don’t worry - they’re not that frightening really) based on frightening facts. But are they true or false? Students simply answer with true or false. Answers for this round are embedded into the PowerPoint after round 4.

Round 4: Movie Mystery
Ten questions of movie titles or series depicted in emoji form. For each movie, students are shown a series of emojis as clues. Students need to write the name of the movie on the Answer sheet. Answers for this round are embedded into the PowerPoint after this round, along with the answers for round 3. Students are then encouraged to share their scores so the teacher / class leader can keep track.

Round 5: Where’s Wolfy?
A firm favourite among students! Ten questions made up of spooky images, divided into a grid. For the first five questions, students are challenged to find Wolfy the warewolf as he hides in each photo. Students should write the corresponding coordinates on the answer sheet to locate Wolfy. From question six onwards, Wolfy is joined by Marvin the zombie. Students should now give the coordinates for both characters. This round is set up with a timer and will automatically move through the images once started. Double points available for when Wolfy is joined by Marvin. Answers for this round are embedded into the PowerPoint immediately after the round, followed by the answers for the photo round.
