<p>This ‘T Shirt About Me’ activity, is a fun, first week back to school ice breaker. <p>Get to know your class with this no-prep, all about me activity. This foldable printable is ideal for back-to-school or for an ‘about me’ topic and is a fun alternative to a standard worksheet.</p> <p>Print the template on white paper. There are 4 designs to choose from, each with the same prompts (please note that the templates are not editable).</p> <p>Pupils will need coloured pencils, a pen and scissors.</p> <p>Firstly, pupils will colour the top and bottom of the template. They can then fill in the boxes with words and pictures.</p> <p>The information they’ll need to complete is as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Name</li> <li>Age</li> <li>Left/right handed</li> <li>A place I’d like to visit is</li> <li>3 words to describe me</li> <li>Things that make me smile</li> <li>I want to learn more about</li> <li>If I were an animal I’d be</li> <li>Something important to me</li> </ul> <p>Encourage lots of discussions!</p> <p>When the foldable is closed, it will spell ME. <p><strong>US and UK versions included</strong></p> <p>Get to know your pupils with this all about me foldable activity. Ideal for the start of a new school year or for a myself/ourselves/Me topic. You could use these in the classroom for a back to school activity, or send home for pupils to complete as a transition activity over the summer.</p> <p>There are 15 templates so children can pick one that best matches their hair style. They then draw eyes, eyebrows, skin/hair colour and lips, creating a self portrait! Templates are also included with a straight edge around the face for younger/less confident cutters.</p> <p>The inside prompts them to add some information about themselves - name, age, favourite colours, something that makes them smile and something they are good at.</p> <p>Finally, they can cut out the design, and fold (instructions are included for this). Bring the 2 sides of the face together, then gently pull apart to reveal the inside (like a concertina).</p> <p>Minimal prep is needed - just print templates onto A4 card and have coloured pencils in skin/hair/eye tones and scissors available.
