<p>Algebra Answers amended - some silly answers!</p>
I'm rather pleased with this resource! There are 5 different levels of difficulty, each level contains 8 questions. The answers are included but let me know if you spot a mistake. A couple of times I forgot to half and squared the diameter! Also I only rounded the final answer not any other in-between stages. At some point I will add the 'worked answers'<br />
Please leave feedback!!
There are 32 cards, each with a different question. There is a protractor image with an angle. Pupils need to read the protractor. QQT is a Kagan structure.
This is an investigation task in which pupils work in small groups and investigate one given theorem. They then have to present their findings and teach it to the rest of the class. I used a point system which highly engaged, motivated and promoted independent learners. ALL of my class responded so well with the activity I felt I should share. <br />
The initial task sheet was given to me by a colleague (who got from TES) I have amended it and added further theorems also putting it on to individual sheet for each group. It is designed to use over 2 lessons. Please don't hesitate to ask for any further information on how to use.
Nice activity for end of term. Includes Ppt and instruction sheet, all you need to supply is the listed material (plastic, tape, straws,...) full list on PPt.
Involves some measuring and lots of fun!
Contingency plan if it rains is to use a fan!
Hope your class and you enjoy.
Resource useful for those using Pearson's KS3 Maths Progress Books.<br />
This is a relay activity recapping topics covered in Unit 3. There is also a worksheet to go along, were pupils can record their answers once they have been confirmed correct. Pupils can then take this sheet home to revise. <br />
Answers included!<br />
Pupils work in pairs. Pupil 1 answers question 1, pupil acts as a coach, gives praise and checks answer. Then pupil 2 answers question 2. (reverse roles). Then pupils swap with another pair and check answers again and tick if agree. Then pupils go back to answering question 3 & 4 before swapping again. Aim, full pupil cooperation, not sitting waiting for teacher to check, can correct errors quicker.
Aimed for those using Pearson's KS3 Maths Progress books. 10 Question quiz recapping topics covered throughout the unit. PowerPoint of questions enclosed, although I have designed a Kahoot multi-choice quiz with answers. It is free to sign up & lots of fun! <br />

Sorry couldn't include all other amazing sites
8 different scenarios. 4 stages of the handling cycle. Order the cards. Based on exam question that requires to write an investigation using the data handling cycle. <br />
HINT: print each scenario on different colour paper (then laminate). <br />
<br />
Spelling mistake fixed! I had complies instead of compiles. Oops!
Tool for pupils to self assess.<br />
Picture of finished piece.<br />
Templates included.<br />
Print on coloured card.<br />
Leave a small gap when laminating, so folds better. <br />
Overlap end plastic laminate inside and sellotape. I also sellotaped the outside. I found it easier to glue pictures and words to coloured card.
New GCSE 9-1 Pupils now need to know the exact values. Students can test each other.<br />
PDF and PPt version included if you would like to amend.<br />
Typo amended.
3 levels of difficulty. 8 cards for each challenge level.
The cards have the answers on. These can be removed. I leave the answers on and use this as a Fan 'N&' Pick activity. Could also be used for QQT.
I have printed each level on 3 different colours of paper. Pupils can select their level they wish to stretch to.
