<p>This is a collection of 8 lessons which teach children how to write a persuasive speech about the dangers of climate change.<br />
Children create a TEDX talk linked to COP28 held in UAE. This can eaisly be adapted to link to other events globally.<br />
The speech is structured to encourage children and adults to make a change.</p>
<p>Lesson 1 - Immersion<br />
Lesson 2 - Reading lesson about different issues that impact climate change such as farming, transport, biodiversity etc (Twinkl texts not included but can be downloaded)<br />

<p>Each writing lesson is supported by a WAGOLL which focuses on AFORESTPIE language features.</p>
<p>These scaffolded writing supports help children to write a persuasive speech about the dangers of climate change.</p>
<p>Children will write a persuasive speech to ask people to address the climate change issues. These can be used for a TEDX event.</p>

<p>This resource was used to create a WW2 diary recount from a child’s point of view during The Blitz.</p>
<p>It contains introduction phrases, emotive language, adjectives to describe emotion, adverbial phrases, prepositional phrases and figurative language.</p>

<p>This resource was used to write an explanation text all about the circulatory system.<br />
It contains a success criteria, passive voice examples, adverbials, cause and effect conjunctions and key words.</p>
<p>This is an editable document which can be used to enable children to uplevel their own work using rainbow editing and purple pen.</p>
