Was created as a board display. It could also be used to support lessons.
This lesson was awarded 'outstanding' by an external observer during my PGCE (2011) in Cardiff.<br />

It is a carousel lesson with five stations and can be used as an introduction/summary to the topic of Castles. Focuses on the progression of Castles (video clip), Motte & Bailey, Stone & Concentric Castles, Attacking and Defending Castles.<br />

Includes all resources required- Data Capture Sheet, video-clip, All information sheets for each category with accompanying examples and additional glossaries for differentiation purposes. The PPT, image for the jigsaw starter activity, extra 'Do you know' fun facts, station table titles and lesson plan are also included. <br />
<br />
**Warning** The specific examples of different types of castles are all based in Wales. One of the fun facts is also specific to the Moorish Castle in Gibraltar and includes my name but can be easily removed. <br />

I created this for lunchtime revision sessions for Y11s. It goes through 6 mark past paper questions for Christianity (green slides) & Ethics (Purple) It answers the questions which I have put together using the examiner mark scheme. It is designed for a low ability set but can be modified for higher sets. Shows students how to set out their arguments : For/Against/My opinion using the PEE technique (Point, Example, Explanation)
