A booklet containing information about Barcelona and activities for pupils to do on a school trip. Pupils could also do some of the worksheets in the classroom, using books or the Internet as research tools to help them complete the activities. Contains activities on Gaudí (mainly Sagrada Familia), Picasso, FC Barcelona and Camp Nou, Catalan language and culture, and Portaventura. I am a PGCE student with the Open University and this is the first resource I have uploaded. Any comments, good or bad, would be appreciated, and please let me know if you find any mistakes.

French film trailer match-up reading activity

(9)
I showed pupils five trailers for French films and they had to match the trailers to the descriptions in French. Year 9 pupils really enjoyed it, and asked if we could watch 'Untoucable&'! I didn&';t give them any vocabulary and they didn't use a dictionary. Pupils then picked out phrases from the texts which they can then use when describing films. I found the trailers on Youtube (answers on second page). Be careful, with the &'Hors du prix&'; trailer, there is a swear word in the subtitles, I just paused and skipped it.

I wanted to show pupils how they could improve their level by talking about the past and the future. Comments/ suggestions for improvements welcome.
