Full set of resources and PPT for my “Game of Life” project. This is to introduce students to the ideas of the developments in each life stage, what event can affect those developments and what support can help people cope with different events. The idea is that I do this at the end of year 9 and we create a wall display with the students’ work so they can refer to it in year 10 when we begin Component 1.

This is a display i have put up in our SEN area to provoke conversations with students around not letting a disability/learning difficulty hold you back.

This is a publisher document

8 complete lessons for Learning AIm A, Unit 3. This set of lessons takes the students up to just before they would begin the assessment for Learning AIm A

Full scheme of work for Learning AIm A, Component 1. Power points, workbooks, exam questions etc. I have mainly used the BTEC scheme of work to create this. These lessons cover Human growth and development over the life stages.

A set of 6 cards that can be given to students with SEMH needs. Covers angry, sad, worried, excited, happy and anxious. Can be printed, laminated and the circle at the bottom can be hold punched and they can all be linked together with a key ring

A series of template cards for different areas of need. We have personalised these cards for all students on the SEND register. We then give a set to each teacher to aid in their planning. Each card has a brief synopsis of that student, their needs and lesson planning requirements.

Now and Next Ladder to make it simple to break instructions down for both teachers and students. There is both an A4 and an A5 version. We have them laminated so teachers can use their white board pens and clean off afterwards.
