Intended to improve both their thinking and acting skills.<br /> <br /> My students kept coming up to me out of class, desperate for information on who killed Billy Rainbow. Lots of potential to adapt it further.

<p>Students to do their own research into the life and career of an author of their choice. This will involve doing an in-depth analysis of a novel and a new chapter of a novel. They will need to include evidence of research and sources as well as prepare a presentation to the class.</p> <p>There is also a booklet for them to fill in with all their findings.</p> <p>They will be assessed on all the four criteria of the MYP Language and Literacy curriculum and it is easilty adaptable for Language Acquisition. I have done the unit with grade 7, but it should be fine with other grades.</p>
