<p>Passport used over the year for KS3 to use the different machinary within the workshop in DT.</p> <p>Has worked well for me to have a quick update for who is happy using the machinary and those that need more guidance.</p> <p>Also worked as good plenary for the practical lessons.</p> <p>Resource is best printed back to back to make an A5 booklet.</p> <p>Space for school logo to be put on the front cover.</p>

<p>KS3 Cubist Lamp Project<br /> Mini GCSE Project</p> <p>Full booklet for a lamp project run over approximately 12 x 1 hour lessons. The booklet follows the design process from research to evaluation. Can be printed as a booklet or used as worksheets.</p> <p>I have run this project within my department for many years now and have found it very cost effective for budget through the use of recycled cardboard.</p> <p>Can also be varied that the pieces can be cut on a laser cutter instead of by hand using craft knife. This make the project a lot quicker and the end result is better.</p>

<p>**Sustainabilty Lesson used for Interview</p> <p>Powerpoint and lesson plan included. **</p> <p>Lesson looks at the problem of plastic pollution and includes a design task.</p> <p>Some products that are now made using recycled plastics. I used a top made from recycled plastic from primark and brought in plastic bottles for the design task.</p> <p>Based on 30 - 45 min lesson.</p>

<p>When using visual cards they can be adapted to anything but the general rule is that is it only the image with no background. This is due to it being clear on where the focus can go.</p> <p>These are cards that are used by my own son who is non verbal ASD.</p>

<p>Mini lamp project completed with my Yr 10 Class to encourage skills and get into the swing of what is needed for the GCSE NEA.</p>
