This lessons looks at the form and structure of a poem. Students develop their understanding of form and structure by looking at a range of shapes and considering their different meanings. The lesson then moves on to single quotes, enabling students to begin to explore and analyse language.<br />
This works well as an introduction to poetry at KS3, or can be used as a start of KS4 Poetry work. Enables students to look at the shape and structure of a poem.
