As part of my role as Lead Practitioner I have been desiging 'active lessons'. These are planned to be engaging and textbook free. In putting these lessons together I have used bits and pieces that other users have uploaded previously so thank you to those members.

This is a lesson that can be used to introduce sample space diagrams and the probability of combined events.

The idea is that you play the wackey races game as a class then look at the probabilities of each car winning before students go off and experiement themselves. You can then collect the classes results and compare to the results of the TV series.

*hint - click on the wackey races banner to link to a clip of the intro of the cartoon*

I would appreciate any and all feedback.
