SLOP Questions for each topic in the paper 2 of the AQA Trilogy exam (with mark scheme)
4.5 Homeostasis and Response
4.6 Inheritance, Variation and Evolution (2 parts)
4.7 Ecology

A resource using various resources from AQA to better equip Chemistry students in answering extended response questions. Can be done as a lesson (depending on strength of class and including some of the worksheets as homework) or over a few lessons. My classes said they felt more confident with these types of questions after I taught this as a lesson.

Can be used for a triple Chemistry class or a Trilogy Chemistry class (I have used both successfully this year)

SLOP questions for every topic in Paper 2 of the AQA GCSE Biology course (with mark schemes)

Additional questions on the brain provided

Probably a bit much for one lesson but can easily be divided into two lessons
Just a short introduction to the Biological Molecules unit in the new OCR biology course.

Students use text book and previous GCSE Biology and Chemistry knowledge to complete worksheet
Answers are discussed using the Power point presentation (if needed) or just using the answer sheet
**some slides in Powerpoint may have been taken from other resources on TES
Lesson on properties of water

Powerpoint includes students researching and filling in a concept map on the properties of water and the importance of each to living organisms (scaffolded) and some videos

worksheets provide consolidation of key properties

The overall format was based on one I have seen on twitter from @DrKUnderdown

Each core practical contains reference to spec points, areas for notes (with pages linked to the text book we used), youtube videos of each practical and exam questions pertaining to the practical (not all from AQA), and occasionally additional questions

There is answer booklet provided as well
