I put this PPT together for my students to use as last-minute revision. The first slide has lots of balloons that link to a slide on the topic written in each balloon. Slides have a 'back' button to take you back to the main slide. If there is no back button, there is more than one slide for that topic. I'm going to email it out to my students or give it to those that have a USB stick. It could easily be used as a whole-class revision tool. I made this in MS PowerPoint 2010 and saved it as a 97-2003 Presentation so it should work in earlier versions. I haven't tested it though.

I needed a video lesson (we all do sometimes) so I decided tolet Prof Brian Cox do the teaching. To make sure the students stayed awake and concentrated, I put together a series of questions relating to the video. They seemed to enjoy it and by the end were full of wonder about the Universe. Mission accomplished. You'll need a copy of Wonders of the Universe - Stardust episode.

There are 2 pages in the PPT - page one I used with my more able year 9 class, page two for the slightly less able. You'll need bathroom scales and 1cm^2 graph paper to support this activity/worksheet. Most students needed a bit of help with which squares to count after drawing around their shoes. I gave the students the option of using my mass if they weren't comfortable with sharing their own.

A simple sheet for students to use when planning an investigation. There are boxes for each aspect of the investigation plan and prompting questions or comments to help with each box. Listed under Physics but obviously suitable for all Sciences.

An Excel spreadsheet I created for me so I could see where the AQA physics spec has changed in terms of the units. Includes an overview of the old units and new units, and an equivalency table.
