A series of 8 social stories to help deliver important lessons about personal hygiene and self-care to SEN students. They all contain visuals help pupils to understand concepts about themselves and the world around them. They cover all aspects of personal care and can be used together or in isolation. They look at washing hands, cleaning your teeth, having a shower, using the toilet, blowing your nose and washing your hair and brushing your hair. I have also included a social story highlight what is dirty within their environment.

This is an update for Covid 19, so that it can be sent home to our students whilst they are doing remote learning.</p> <p>This is an interactive whiteboard resource about Tiddalick (Tiddalik) the Frog - an aboriginal dreaming (Dream Time) story. It has the story which is told with pictures, words and visuals (pcs). Then there are related resources to support the teaching of this story.<br /> There is also a PowerPoint version of the story, for people who do not have Smart Notebook plus a set of worksheets.<br /> It also has a little movie which is a joke, which has been animated to teach the concept of jokes - enjoy<br /> There is also a YouTube clip of my class staff retelling the story.</p>

I have developed a number of resources which I use in my PDHPE Curriculum. I have divided the resources into gender specific and this is female students - 'Girl Talk'. It looks at 'First - then' and teaches it through playing a fun action game. It progresses onto 'First, next, then and last'. And finishes with 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.<br /> Students can play the game using the Interactive whiteboard individually or as a group activity.
