To teach the effects of tourism on National Parks, introductory lesson. PPT has the lesson structure. I downloaded the Dingbats part of it from another author. My apologies if it was you! It was very useful, thanks. For the debate, give a scenario such as building a quarry, or another road etc and let them debate against each other.
For all groups at the start of P2 AQA Physics, these are worksheets for students to complete which include all formulas given in the data sheet in examinations. In the matching letters to words sheet, students have fill in the gaps to understand what the letters in formulas mean e.g. Q = charge, I=Current etc. In the matching formulas to words, they use a copy of the data sheet to find and write in the formula required from a word description. Fairly easy stuff, but seems to take a while! However for foundation groups - a handy exercise and introduction to the demands of the unit.
x15 A5 Sheets (2 to a page) of revision questions covering the new GCSE for Biology by AQA. Updated from my resource on B2, these cover Cells, Organisation, Infection and Response and Bioenergentics. The questions are simply a guide through the topics and not a complete breakdown of the spec. They should be used by students to guide their revision rather than thinking this is all there is! They create talking points, tests for each other, questions for the teacher and a reminder of what was learned. Have created both word and PDF versions depending on how you like to print, or if you want to edit.
As an introduction or for lower attainers, this is a summary of the limiting factors of photosynthesis. First side has a short definition of limiting factors and blank spaces and blank graphs to draw. On the reverse side are the descriptions and line graphs in the wrong order. Students have to match the graphs to the description and copy the answer onto the first side.
12 Mini Task Sheets (A5) covering the basic topics of AQA's B2 in June 2016. Each sheet has 8 questions at most on each topic. Aimed at Foundation Level students. Each question requires a short written answer, mostly 1 word. Can be used as a circus of tasks or as a project with rewards for each sheet completed - you decide! Very handy. Lower level sets may need a few lessons to complete. 1 Word Document, 6 pages, 12 A5 tasks ready to print.
A complete booklet for the entire unit linked exclusively to the Hodder text book. Hodder GCSE Chemistry textbook page numbers are referenced. Useful for either a homework project or a class resource. Does not include experiments. Useful for independent learning, extension work or a path through the unit. Made on A4 in size 16 Ariel font, as a PDF file can be printed as an A5 booklet and still be read.
1 PPT of equations where students either have draw the equation triangle or write the word equation. 1 PPT of the same presentation as above, but macro'd to randomise. Enable macros to open and start at slide 1. Only the action button 'GO!' will move slides on in a random order.<br />
<br />
These equations will not be supplied, the quote on the spec is, "students should be able to recall". These PPTs do not include those equations that will be supplied on a sheet in the exam.

Just something to keep them on their seats while you have admin to do. Modify it for other days and scan in other activties. Print back to back to make booklet. I scanned in worksheets from a large pile in my cupboard, so I apologise if you are the author of these. I haven't knowingly infringed any obvious copyright.
