Cannabis - What's all the chat about?
Students evaluate different viewpoints on the legalisation of cannabis - through this they learn 'pro&'s' and 'con&';s' of the drug, the legality surrounding the drug, the effects and how different sectors of society may react if cannabis was legalised.

A look into social media and how it impacts students. The lesson got students to understand when things are put on social media they are out in the public and are no long private thoughts or views - and how certain things we can say or do on social media could come back and haunt us.

History of Printing methods - looking at the three different kinds of printing techniques; Traditional, Mechanical, Digital, & exploring the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods.
This unit of work is an introduction to using ICT & Emails - students are able to send basic emails with images and interactive webcam videos by the end of the unit.
Exciting way to deliver a dry topic of email.
A filler activity that can be used in any subject - esp within ICT so pupils can print their designs on different couloured pieces of paper - or white and they can colour them in.
I have created a tracking sheet for my Media cohort - I have preloaded the tracking sheet with formulae and conditional formatting - even if you are not studying the same units you can just change the titles as the weightings are the same.

This is a DTP scheme of learning for the creation of a newspaper - students work in groups to 'publish' a newspaper.
There is is also a DTP assessment.
