French Song to Taylor Swift; Au Cafe, Food & Drink

(95)
A song created by myself and my colleague to reinforce/introduce cafe vocabulary to Y6, but could be used for Y7 too. Includes je voudrais, vous desirez etc. and lots of repetition of key vocab. Words are on the Powerpoint, audio is of my Y6 class (and myself!) singing the song - it is set to We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift, Youtube link to the instrumental verison I used is below. Enjoy! (Edit 3/4/13 - To distract myself from marking I made a lyrics video with the backing track included, hope it's helpful!)

French Song to Call Me Maybe - Clothes

(10)
A song I created to try and reinforce Les Vêtements/clothes/colours/opinions vocabulary to Y6, but could be used for Y7/8 too. Words are on the Powerpoint, audio is of my Y6 class (and a lot of myself!) singing the song - it is set to Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepson. They found it quite difficult as it's a relatively fast song to squeeze unfamiliar French phrases into, but they certainly enjoyed having a go. Enjoy! (Edit 3/4/13 - To distract myself from marking I made a lyrics video with the backing track included, hope it&'s helpful!)

A song I made up in the shower! Suitable for KS2/3 - reinforces/introduces the question ou habites-tu, answer j'habite and en/au/aux with countries....sung to the tune of Camptown Races, though you have to be a little imaginative with the rhythm/syllables. Enjoy!
