<p>Using Jason Reynold’s inspiring “For Everyone” poem there are 4 lessons here to teach creative writing with guided practise of:</p> <p>Fronted adverbials<br /> Rule of 3<br /> Personification<br /> Metaphors</p> <p>This unit is an introduction to his writing to inspire KS2 readers to read his books.<br /> I have applied Reynold’s “dreams” concept to the climate crisis. It could be adapted or extended to other critical issues as you wish.<br /> It is effective as part of an anti-racist curriculum.</p>

<p>4 powerpoint slide shows to introduce or educate readers to Eva Ibbotson, Jaqueline Wilson, Lauren Child and Roald Dahl. The intention is that they inspire reading and inform about authors. Great to include before a class read as an intoduction for one of these authors books.</p>
