A comprehensive cross-curricular project designed to improve literacy skills as well as teach a unit on Christianity through a textual and thematic study of the novel ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C.S. Lewis. A 57 page workbook is provided that is ready to print- no further photocopying needed all term! Powerpoint lessons accompany the workbook and an example SOW and potential assessment are provided which can be adapted to fit individual school formats. All the resources needed to successfully deliver this unit at Key Stage 3- a way to help booster a school’s reading programme as well as improve religious literacy among pupils. A fun and engaging unit of work- a real pleasure to teach! Approximately 21 lessons worth of material- can be condensed or expanded to fit school ways of working. Has been taught as a full-term project by some and a half- term project by others.
