<p>This unit contains a 2 week block of planning for 8 days of lessons, based on George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl.<br /> It includes a character description task, writing instructions for a medicine, planning a story, writing a story beginning, middle and end and then a lesson on editing. The planning sheet is included for the story (including an example of this filled in) and examples for a story start, middle and end, so that children can clearly see what a good one looks like. Success criteria TAF sheets for WTS, EXS and GD are included for instructions and the story, so that both the children and teacher can assess against these. Reading tasks are also included linked to the different reading domains.</p>
