Students develop their ability to notate melodies by listening, matching melody shapes and correctly adding the melody into MuseScore.

A series of lessons aimed at KS3 using Musescore to create a Theme and Variation Project. Students learn to input melody, bass notes, add dynamics and later use this theme to create variations. Decorating the melody, moving to the relative minor, changing the accompaniment part.
