This powerpoint focuses on AQA physics equations (but would be appropriate for any exam board).
It goes through all the units needed, and how to convert between units using prefixes and orders of ten.
There are tasks built in for the students to complete.
This could either be used as a full lesson or to dip into depending on the ability of the class. I have broken the topic down into beginner, intermediate and expert.

Choose your own homework tasks for all KS3 units.
We stick the sheet in at the beginning of a unit. Pupils need to attempt at least one piece of homework a week. They can select their own tasks based on ability, or they pick a more creative task if they are a pupil that excels in expressive subjects.
If you get pupils to number the pages in their book you can also get pupils to state where the work is so you don’t have to leaf through searching.

Our KS3 curriculum feeds into the AQA science suite.
