<p>Year 3 and 4 planning I made for and used during lockdown for the book Belonging by Jeannie Baker.</p>

<p>Planning for year 5/6 for When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit. Some war poetry mixed into the middle from World War 1 . 40 lessons lasting approximately 30 minutes.</p>

This planning is for year 5 and 6 for 6 weeks and uses a whole class teaching approach for 3 days a week with reading for pleasure, Newsround reading and comprehension done as options for the following days.

Plans for guided reading for year 5 for There's a boy in the girls bathroom. KPIs are noted for each week. This includes a pre-reading activity , a guided group set of points and an independent activity as a follow up. The other 2 sessions mentioned are reading for pleasure and use of the Newsround website for current news reading.
