GCSE PE EDEXCEL WORKSHEETS

End of unit worksheets to help with pupil revision. Let me know if these are useful or if anything needs changing.I have also recently added a front cover sheet and a homework checklist sheet and have printed it off and used it as a homework booklet for the pupils. It saves me planning homework each week and makes sure that the new OFSTED criteria for regular homework is met. Hope it saves you the hassle of planning it. Cheers.

This is a power point I have used with my group. The lesson is based around the question in the table and the pupils look at it, think about it then verbally answer. They then used an A3 size sheet of the blank doc to gather info. They then revisit question. It seemed to work with a Year 10 group I had !

I was recently observed on this topic and used the things I have uploaded here... the lesson went well and the video clip is a nice little starter activity where I asked the pupils to write down as many sports as they could see on it and then referred back to it during the lesson.

I designed this lesson by using Rory Delap's throw in as an example and then bringing questions arising out of this. The slide with the anatomy picture on it I enlarged onto A3 card and in groups the pupils cut one of these up and made it into a moveable joint using a butterfly clip and some card circles as the hinge. Fiddly but a good activity. I always blow the questions up onto A3 and get the pupils into 4's and collaboratively fill in the answers. Then transfer them onto an A4 version and stick them in their books/files. Seems to work.

I have used the skills and health worksheets for recording the definitions and get the pupils to give examples of where they are found in sports or activities.
