This is a KS3 literacy lesson to fit alongside a scheme on A Midsummer Night's Dream. The lesson takes the character of Puck as the focus of a piece of guided descriptive writing. It introduces the skills needed for AQA English Language Paper 1 Q5 and encourages students to focus on smaller details and to embed descriptive devices throughout their writing.

Lesson aimed to develop PEE skills with early KS3 students. Tasks are focused on the character of The Truchbull, but could be easily adapted by inserting alternative extracts.

Lesson to be used as a quick revision class for persuasive writing exam questions. Aimed at foundation tier and was originally planned for iGCSE paper 3 revision, but could be useful for other boards too.
