Just a short one week letter writing plan. I did this with my year 3 but can be adapted. Just picks on the knowledge that they had not learnt in KS1. Please leave feedback.

I taught these lessons with my year 3 class but have also previously adapted with a year 4 class. It is making a non-chronological report creative and fun, adding a fictional twist. Please leave feedback.
In my school we complete a cold task at the beginning of a genre to assess what the children know and a hot task to asses what they have learnt. These are included in the plan but can easily be ignored. I undertook this with my year 3 class but it can be adapted. Please leave feedback.
I have used this book to look at stories from other cultures. This book can be used with any KS2 class. Includes a cold task to start the topic and hot task to end the topic but these can be left out. Please leave feedback.

These are cards that I created as rewards/prizes. I am going to use them as secret student rewards which I will do each day but you can edit the front card so you could use them for any type of reward. Hopefully, it saves you money, instead of having a prize box but it still something the children will want and try hard for. You could hole punch them and keep them on a keyring or I have mine in a basket with which they can choose from.

I created these cards for any children that finish a little early in English or maths lessons. They are hopefully quite fun and engaging but still working on maths and English skills.
The blue are English/Literacy.
The orangey/yellow are Maths.
