Resource can be used as an introduction to the governments reactions to the suffragette movement, focusing on the method of force feeding. Students have been making revision blogs on key aspects of their studies. This resource will hopefully inspire both teachers and students to use media blogs or podcasts as a revision tool. As in this case, Bryan has adapted the role of a university professor and has been creative in his delivery. A fun, engaging and holistic approach to revision!

This lesson introduces students to the Historical Environment Study of Whitechapel. Using a variety of sources students create enquiry questions and review the skills needed for this unit. Students then focus on the case of Harriet Lane using documents from the Old Bailey Court and National newspapers. Students are asked to complete their enquiry by analysing the utility of each source. A fun homework task is also included which sets the next lesson up nicely- What was life Like in Whitechapel?
