The scheme looks at how identity is affected by various factors. Students are encouraged to look at their own identity and in doing so develop their own self esteem and feeling of self worth. The scheme also introduces the topic of diversity and how a particular group is richer due to the various differences that make it up. This short course is aimed to help young teenagers understand basic finance: wants, needs, income, expenditure, how to budget different ways of purchasing goods/services and the benefits of different types of saving accounts.
