Writing exemplification check list with statements created from the National Curriculum and Year 2 and Year 6 exemplification documents. Updated following released Government documents in 2017/2018. Working towards and Above statements have been developed based on the below and above year group. I created these documents because our Year 1,3,4 and 5 teachers were struggling to assess against the new expectations. When they assessed their writing at the end of the year they agreed that the statements met their expectations of the children. We also use this document to help plan our lesson. Our year 6 and year 2 books have been externally moderated with accurate judgments.

This resource contains a weeks worth of planning to get the children to rewrite the story of Little Red Riding in more descriptive detail for a reader of their age group. Worksheets and planning can be adapted for different age groups and abilities. All of the resources have been created by myself apart from the WOW WORD sheet and the Expanded Noun sheet which are from primarytexts.com. Images sourced from Goggle search.
A checklist for children to use that have all the requirements to meet the exemplification standards. Indicated on each checklist is if they are below, meeting or exceeding Year 5 and Year 6.
I created these check lists so the children can see what is expected of them at the end of the year. Children have these available to them during lessons so that they can assess their own work.
Some examples of the 99 names of Allah in English and Arabic. These have been sourced from a website (stated at the bottom of the document) so please comment if there are any mistakes. These can be used in discussions about the meaning and importance of each name or to create respectful pieces of artwork.
This worksheet has a list of questions that the pupils must find the answers to by using the given website http://resources.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/homework/timeline.html
The questions are in order as the information appears on the site to assist LA readers.
Resource links to the new 2014 curriculum.
A long term plan for whole school maths which shows progression of skills. I created this document for staff to see how the curriculum statements can be grouped. The teachers then decide the order of how they teach each unit and how many weeks they spend on them depending on their cohort requirements.
