A useful selection of resources for instructions, newspaper reports, non-chronological and explanation texts. It includes mainly sample texts that I have written and some prompts for the children's own independent writing. All the resources have been tried and tested in my own classroom.

From an application for the job of chef from Darth Vader, to a strongly worded argument that play times should be banned (something that really stirred up my class) - these are tried and tested resources that have really engaged the children I work with. The set includes four full sample texts that I have written, as well as activities linked to persuasion.
