The second lesson considers the issues of racism in the novel. This lesson could provide a good basis for newspaper report writing.

I designed this resource to help me with a newcomer student with no basic English. <br /> <br /> This resource includes word lists, as well as basic questions and answers to be cut up and used as flash cards. Students should revise the key words, then be presented with sentences muddled up. They can then arrange the words in the correct order. The sentences are colour coded to make it easier, and can be changed to a plain white background to make it more difficult.
