Used for an ASD class, to look at rocks and soil. <br /> Pupils explored rocks and soil in class afterwards. Pupils felt textures, shapes and sizes of different rocks, and comparing them. Additionally, pupils explored soils found in different areas (garden, plants, playground etc), mixing them with water.

Used for a SEN class, to sort electrical items (using batteries and mains), and to sort non-electrical items.

Created for a sensory class. Looked at the Creation Story, and then looked at what things are good for our earth and not.

Used for a DT sensory class, we explored different types of sports clothing and non-sports clothing. Pupils then matched sports clothing symbol to symbol on models, then dressed their own models and then sorted sports clothing from other clothing.
