This is a ppt I used to introduce the social, economic and political factors that led to the scramble for Africa. It also touches a bit on the Berlin Conference of 1884. I have also included a word search starter with key words and a cross word that can be used to review information.
These two resources are a revision guide for the Civil war and Henry VIII's great matter. They are a bit detailed and are great for take-home revision.
This is a soft copy of our school homework diary. We have a student who uses his computer for all writing tasks. We created this homework diary to help him record his homework on his computer. It is an excellent resource and you can edit it, print it and use it as a school homework diary.

This is a follow up lesson from the scramble for Africa PPT that I have shared. This powerpoint looks at how Africans reacted to the scramble for Africa: Some through resistance and some through collaboration with their colonisers. I mention the leaders in brief. There is a website link where students can find out more about these leaders. The students follow up the lesson with a letter advising the african leaders on which tactic is beneficial: Collaboration or resistance. Enjoy.

Number one is a resource I used to assess introduction to History unit. It contains subject definitions and source work on Julius Caesar.
Number 2 is a small test I used with my L.A Year 7's after learning about the republic and The Roman army (majors more on the roman army tactics) It's pretty basic but just thought I'd share.
