Same concept as a reading age test but for NUMERACY!!

Pupils assess against this at the start and end of the year to assess progress in regards to numeracy and all thing number.

I use this with KS3 and KS4 and it has shown progression over time for my current Year 11’s
14% of pupils were at their chronological age when they started with us in 2014 and their final assessment shows that 65% of all pupils are now at the minimum expected level

Contains
ANSWERS MAY NEED TO BE CHECKED/EDITED as when I do these with my class I often have one or two questions when both of them are wrong to encourage pupils to check their answers, promote discussion and build confidence with the skill.
Minion themed tick or trash on substitution into basic expressions.
Both can be wrong - I do this so pupils have to show their working to support their answer.
The challenge question involves negatives also

Tick or trash activity on the four operations with negative numbers.
Liverpool and Everton themed.
The mistakes are mostly the common mistakes pupils make with these

NOTE- Both can be wrong just check as I cant remember if this is the case for this one

A tick or trash activity that covers rounding to decimal places and significant figures along with some much simpler rounding questions.

Single bracket expansions involving positives and negatives.

YOU WILL NEED TO DOUBLE CHECK ANSWERS as when I use these I often have questions where both are wrong to promote discussion with pupils and to get them to become confident in questioning given answer options
Tick or trash on simplifying surds. Liverpool Fc and Everton themed
Both can be wrong and both can be right (not sure if this is the case for this one)
The answer that is wrong has either not been fully simplified or is a common mistake

one is correct and the other has made a slight calculation mistake or not simplified fully.
