This resource take students through the basic steps to designing a geometric Islamic tile. Page one includes a hexagonal outline for the tile design and some examples of hexagonal Islamic tiles. Page two provides step by step instructions to create a geometric design within the hexagonal, based on triangles, with an example of a finished design. Page three provides a triangle template to fit within the hexagon.
