Exam questions I wrote for 3 of the GCSE Physics Required Practicals. Ones which didn’t come up on last year’s papers. They are for Thermal Insulation, VI Characteristics and Infra Red Radiation (Leslie Cube).

A question incorporating the main SHM formulae given on AQA formula sheet in one context of a simple pendulum - leads them through the uses of the formulae and reinforces the concept of how to select the right formula for the question. A good bridging question before giving them real past paper questions.

I wrote this question for my Y11 Physics students to give them practice in long answer questions within a context. I've removed the diagrams as I took them from google and I don't have the rights to them but you can easily put them back in again as it's editable. If you'd like the diagrams then please message me and I'll send you the link to them at their original source. The rest is made up by me in a bid to pre-empt what might appear on the exam in 2018. I teach AQA.
In the absence of any specific questions on new spec content on visible light I wrote this question. It deliberately doesn't have marks associated with questions. I told my pupils to be as explanatory as possible and then awarded marks after I'd seen their responses. It's up to you how you award marks yourselves.
Two different questions designed for GCSE new specification in Physics based on the triangle of forces (scale drawing) and then a second question on mass, weight and density in the context of a neutron star. I've added a walkthrough ppt for this for the first question.

A bundle of some of the questions I’ve written for my classes in order to predict topics that may come up for them.
Visible Light, Triangle of Forces, Acceleration, Changes in Energy (2 long questions for GPE-KE-EPE contexts), Required Practicals 2, 4 and 10, Efficiency, Motor Effect, Newton’s 2nd Law, Seismic Waves
I’ve tried to use the AQA exam style, particularly for the more recent ones. Includes 3 of the required practicals which didn’t appear in last year’s papers. Some mark schemes present but not all (and it’s only my judgement anyway). I’ve been through last year’s papers against the specification and am tailoring the questions I write to the parts of the spec not covered last year. More to come as and when they get written.

Incorporating Efficiency, Acceleration (SUVAT equation), N 2nd Law and Motor Effect. Mark scheme included for this one. Any mistakes please let me know in comments so I can amend.
