This resource is a collection of example 'An Inspector Calls' exam questions based on the NEW (2017) Eduqas GCSE English Literature format. I have used the specimen example provided and created these other versions to help prepare students for the examination.

This is a booklet resource that can be used during the reading of the play or after the reading as a revision tool. This worked really well with all of my GCSE classes. Each section comes with a learning intention and differentiated outcomes, but this needs to be adjusted for new specs (2017).

This resource provides some guidance for structuring the 20 mark essay question on 'Heroes' in the WJEC Unit 2a examination. Although this is written for 'Heroes', it can be adapted to accommodate any of the other texts on the specification.

These are a range of lessons I used to teach some of the key ideas from a few of the poems from the Eduqas anthology to my mixed ability Year 9 class, all of which appeared to be successful. This resource comes with a model answer for writing about 'Ducle Et Decorum Est' and a writing frame for the less able.

This lesson introduces students to the three main types of sentences: simple, compound and complex. This will enable learners to develop an understanding of these sentences and encourage them to use them in their own writing.

These are 3 worksheets that I put together to use with middle/bottom set and revision of theme and character. Students are to write down what they know and can remember about the novel and use this as a starting point for group work/discussion.

This is a lesson I used to introduce the concept of unseen poetry to my Year 10s. I based the lesson on the poem, 'Introduction to Poetry' (Billy Collins), which the students found engaging and could relate to.
