Based on the widely acclaimed book "Make It Stick" by Peter Brown et al, these resources are designed to support students with independent learning and guidance on how to revise properly, in order to make the learning "stick". Included are guides for KS3 and KS4/5. The accompanying ppt is for delivery by tutors, but could also be utilised by teachers.

This Jekyll and Hyde SOW contains 12 lessons with ppt and associated resources, plus homework and is aimed at KS3. Assessment tasks are to prepare students for the new AQA GCSE English Language paper 1 and includes mock paper questions and model answers.

This lesson is designed for students to practice their inference skills as they work as part of a team on a ''murder investigation'', to determine who was really responsible for the death of Jekyll. For lower ability groups this would need to be broken down into 2 lessons. I taught this to a mixed ability year 8 group during inspection and the inspector loved it!
