This is a template I created to help me record my observations in class pre PGCE. It's helping me to record important information I may otherwise miss.
This is a basic PowerPoint about Edmund Hillary's journey to Mount Everest. I couldn't find anything suitable for my Year 2 class so pulled this one together from various sources. I hope it helps some of you lovely teachers :)
A lovely visual way to celebrate the various skills, talents and hobbies primary children have to share. It also helps to ensure that academic success is not the only measure of success used in the classroom. This may be a good resource for NQT 's setting up their classrooms for the new term. Use the 'tips' page to help you set up your very own talent pool display . I think it would be particularly good for KS1 and KS2 children. Enjoy!
A lovely activity to do with KS1 children to get their creative juices flowing. Its a great alternative to creating an Easter card. A nice way to end the term. Children get to explore the colours of spring and bring their flowers to life by adding a scented middle. You can have so much fun with this activity and the children have something really special to give to loved ones at Easter!

This is a PowerPoint I created to support the teaching of a Jane Considine unit of work based on Anthony Browne’s ‘Gorilla’. This was a unit of work taught in year 5.

This is a PowerPoint I created to suppliment a Hamilton Trust unit of work on Slam Poetry for Year 5. The children had great fun creating their own poems, ending the unit with our own poetry slam!

This is a PowerPoint I pulled togther to help me teach an English unit on Argument and Debate. The children (year 5) were engaged and found the unit highly enjoyable.
