Main contains a 'Walking route to school activity' where pupils have to familiarise themselves with the periodic table, chemical symbols and numbers. A debate that could be used as a How Science Works lesson for KS3/KS4. This can obviously be easily changed and added to in order to suit all abilities/ages. Differentiated information sheets attached as well as worksheet, thinking hats, and completed worksheet for teacher guidance and information sheets.
A lesson focusing on the structure of the brain with various activities. For the brain hat template, I got my version on pinterest. Lesson 2 looks at detecting issues within the brain and spinal cord.
Development of the baby. pupils have to undertake a activities related to topic. One is pupils studying and sharing information with class and as a class completing a time line. Pupils will also complete key words and then a debate on pro-life and pro-choice in terms of thinking hats, although these could be removed for a full class debate. A completed worksheet is provided for teacher guidance.
Loop frame game including all the main key words associated with the topic - linking to their definition. Pupil aim is to make a complete loop frame. great for revision of topic.
Computer lesson. Designed for KS3 Year 9 Mixed ability class but easily adapted for GCSE. Timings are the numbers under the titles on the slide and can be changed as needed
